CDT Three

Building on the foundations of the CDT Two, the CDT Three from Audio Note UK takes top-loading transports to a new level of extreme quality. 
 
 
 
To reduce inherent noise to a minimum, the circuitry uses three separate transformers and supplies. Audio Note AN-Vx silver cable is employed for internal digital signal transfer and the output stage uses a silver-wire wound transformer with a thin laminated core. Electronics feature Audio Note tantalum resistors and Cerafine capacitors.
 
 
 
A highly musical transport, the CDT-Three is available with a face plate in either brushed aluminium, or polished black acrylic to match other products in the Audio Note UK range.
 
 
 
A length of Audio Note's AN-Vx symmetrical-silver coaxial cable carries the digital signal to a small output board, which itself connects to both balanced (XLR) and single-ended (RCA) outputs. 
 
 
 
This transport uses a custom modified Philips CD Pro2LF CD mechanism.
